As we know, Theory of Knowledge can feel abstract at first. It is not just another subject. It sits at the heart of the IB Diploma Programme, and yet many of us are asked to teach it with very little practical guidance. The key is learning how to bridge the gap between what the IB expects and what that actually looks like on a Tuesday morning in your classroom. Over the course of two days, we will walk through the structure and purpose of the IB Diploma Programme and the IB Core, unpack what Theory of Knowledge really is and why it matters, break down the TOK Exhibition and the TOK Essay with clear assessment expectations, and provide a practical roadmap for pacing and planning your first semester.
