As we start thinking about next year, I wanted to let you know that this July I will be hosting my annual IB Economics New Teacher Workshop on July 25th & 26th via Zoom. This workshop is designed specifically for teachers who are new to teaching IB Economics next year, even though they may have many years of teaching experience. As we know, it is essential to our success in the IB classroom that we figure out how to fill the gap between what is expected of us by the IB and how to actually do it in the classroom. The workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the IB Diploma Program, a thorough understanding of the IB Economics curriculum, a wide range of teaching strategies, and a roadmap for new teachers to pace out their first semester–and it will still be July!
