Theory of Knowledge New Teacher WorkshopJuly 23rd & 24th, 2026Hey Everyone, I hope this email finds you well and that this stretch of the school year feels steady and productive. As we begin looking ahead to next year, I wanted to let you know that this July, Sofia and I will be hosting our Theory of Knowledge New Teacher Workshop on July 23rd and 24th via Zoom. This workshop is designed specifically for teachers who are new to teaching Theory of Knowledge next year, even if they have many years of classroom experience. As we know, it is essential to our success in the IB classroom that we figure out how to bridge the gap between what the IB expects of us and what that actually looks like in our classrooms. Theory of Knowledge, perhaps more than any other course, can feel abstract at first. Without a clear roadmap, it is easy to feel unsure about pacing, assessment, and how to guide students through both the Exhibition and the Essay. Over the course of two days, we will walk through the structure and purpose of the IB Diploma Programme and the IB Core, clarify what Theory of Knowledge really is and why it matters, unpack the TOK Exhibition and the TOK Essay with clear assessment expectations, and provide a practical roadmap for pacing out your first semester. And it will still be July. Additional Bonuses - In addition to 8 hours of live instruction and personal interaction with other TOK teachers from around the world, you will also receive the following additional bonuses as part of your enrollment:
All told, that is US $1530 worth of value for US $385. Sofia brings over a decade of experience as an IB educator, IB examiner, and current Theory of Knowledge teacher here in Bulgaria. She has an exceptional ability to simplify the complex nature of TOK and make it feel manageable and teachable. I am genuinely excited to co host this with her.
